Answer: The Facilities request Link is when you are using your specific Area/Suite outside of normal business hours and/or additional activities during regular business hours. This link is also used when you are expecting more visitors then on a normal day that will enter the building and impact common space usage, inventory and parking.

Answer: The Building Bridges Event Space request link is used to request he Recital Hall, Community Meeting Room, Lobby, Theater, and Black Box.

Answer: The Building Bridges Maintenance/Janitorial request Link is for any janitorial and/or maintenance related request such as cleaning, stocking bathrooms, light bulb change, HVAC, plumbing, etc.

Special Break Deep Cleaning and Restoration Services Process TO: Campus Partners FROM: Facilities Management RE: Special Arrangements for Deep Cleaning During Break Period DATE: March 2025 We are pleased to announce our comprehensive deep cleaning and restoration services available during the upcoming break period. To ensure minimal disruption to campus operations, all special cleaning services must be scheduled outside regular operational hours. Important Deadline All requests must be submitted by April 30th for Summer Break and October 30th for Winter Break to guarantee scheduling during the break period. Services Available Floor stripping and waxing Carpet deep cleaning and extraction Interior painting and touch-ups Complete space sanitization Equipment cleaning and maintenance Preparation Requirements Individual Office Responsibilities Personnel must complete the following prior to scheduled cleaning: Remove ALL personal items from desks, shelves, and furniture surfaces Clear personal belongings from floors and storage areas Relocate furniture to the center of the room Secure or remove valuable items, documents, and electronics Facilities Responsibilities Our team will handle: Moving institutional equipment and shared furniture Repositioning open space furniture for floor treatment Standard cleaning supplies and equipment setup Important Liability Disclaimers Facilities Management is NOT responsible for: Personal Property Damage to or loss of personal items left in work areas Electronics, documents, or valuables not properly secured Personal furniture or decorative items Food items or perishables left in spaces Floor Treatment Limitations Pre-existing floor damage, scratches, or wear patterns Areas inaccessible due to unmoved furniture or equipment Color variations in older flooring materials Furniture indentations or permanent floor markings Painting Services Limitations Color matching for touch-ups on surfaces older than two years Coverage of pre-existing wall damage, holes, or stains Painting around immovable personal items or decorations Custom color requests not approved in advance Carpet Cleaning Limitations Pre-existing stains, burns, or permanent discoloration Carpet wear patterns, fading, or age-related damage Areas blocked by unmoved furniture or personal items Odor removal beyond standard cleaning capabilities General Service Limitations Access restrictions due to locked offices or cabinets Services in spaces not properly prepared according to guidelines Weather-related delays affecting floor drying times Damage caused by building infrastructure issues (leaks, HVAC problems) Scheduling Process Submit your request via [facility request via portal (the below form) Include specific services needed and preferred dates Confirm space preparation completion Receive a comprehensive scheduling confirmation within 5 Business Days. The suggestion is 4 weeks consecutive for the above request for 10,000 square ft. or more. An Intermittent schedule will require proper planning and a submittal two months before execution.
